Resisting temptation is impossible when there's only a cupboard door between you and your naughty-but-nice treats. Yes, you can padlock the candy drawer shut, but locks are easy to thwart, especially when you're the keyholder.

What all you weak-willed snackers really need is a device to curb cravings; a gizmo that locks away temptation for hours; a container that delivers a spine-tingling electric shock if anyone attempts to open it! And here it is in the kitchen-friendly shape of the ingenious Shockolate Vault.

Shockolate Vault Despite the choc-tastically nifty wordplay, this transparent container can be used to store treats of any description (so long as they fit inside). Simply pop your favorite chocolates, candies or whatever inside the jar, set the timer (up to 24 hours) and the countdown begins. If anyone attempts to pilfer the jar's contents before the timer reaches zero the lid will emit a nasty but harmless electric shock. Ouch!

Shockolate Vault

It goes without saying that the Shockolate Vault is a great way of keeping roommates' mitts off your stash, but it's also a great dieting aid that can improve your willpower. Because believe us, controlling your cravings is much easier when faced with the prospect of an electrifying zap. What's more, the programmable timer means you can choose exactly how long you think you can hold out for.

Shockolate Vault The Shockolate Vault is the ideal gift for greedy friends. It's also perfect for storing your goodies at work, as it discourages cookie theft. Indeed, the break room here at Firebox Towers is currently ringing out with aarghs and eeks as treat thiefs try and fail to open our Shockolate Vault.

Forget Fatkins-style diets; this fiendishly amusing receptacle really is one of the best ways to control your cravingzzz!! So get ordering pronto. You're in for a shock!

visitor avatar You don't have to put chocolate in the jar. If you want to really evil, grab someone's mobile phone, place it the jar and replace the lid then ring it. So when the owner of mobile tries to answer it they get a nice surprise. Try other things like jewellery or a £50 pound note.

visitor avatar Great Inventions!!! It works well with the Sonic Grenade or with an ordinary alarm clock. Really is a great way to wake someone up!!! Well, for the person doing the waking anyway!

visitor avatar Just used it at school, when my teacher wanted to confiscate the choc inside she tried to open it and looked like king cobra had just appeared in her bedroom and bitten her. =).

visitor avatar Great fun! Works best for adults since kids couldn't care less about getting shocked, in fact, lots of kids games have a "shock" feature. I'm putting a mention in my newsletter, Bits-n-Bites for People Who Chew.

visitor avatar This is great for keeping mates stuck at your house. I locked my best mates mobile in it for 2 hours. An excuse to spend more quality time together!! :).

visitor avatar A scary but wonderful invention. I placed my favourite chocolate in the vault, along with my mothers cigarettes! It works a treat. I told my mum that I was keeping them safe, and when I set the timer and placed it on the side, she reached for it. She has cut down and I still haven't touched that choccie!! Thank you firebox!

visitor avatar Just shocked the boss with this, you should've seen the look on his face!!! I'm going to go home tonight and lock the wife's chocolate in it and set the timer for 8 hours - am I a bad man?
