PicoZ Micro Helicopter Pedals, joysticks, flight manuals, Bruno Brookes style leather blousons...it's a right rigmarole flying a chopper, isn't it? Well no, not if you buy the amazing PicoZ Micro Helicopter.

PicoZ Micro Helicopter Ready-to-fly straight out the box, this palm-sized IR flying machine is perfect for indoor flights. And it won't blow off the boss's toupee or decapitate the dog, even in a head-on collision, as it's only 17cm long and weighs a mere 10g. More importantly it won't fall to bits, as it's constructed from robust polypropylene foam.

PicoZ Micro Helicopter You control the airborne action via a twin channel, wide-beam infra-red transmitter that doubles up as a charger. With a range of up to 30ft, you'll soon be conducting hush-hush raids on distant enemy desks and, thanks to the Pico's eerie blue strobe light, putting the willies up the late shift. Just make sure you don't hum the music to Magnum whilst doing so - it's a dead giveaway!

PicoZ Micro Helicopter

Unlike the whopping great petrol-driven choppers of yesteryear, the Pico's powerful micro motors are powered by a lightweight lithium polymer battery, giving flight times of up to 10 minutes from a half hour charge. More than enough to harass housemates and buzz the budgie. Indeed, when it comes to manoeuvrability, this nifty chopper is the canine's cojones. And that's down to an ingenious auto-stability system which makes flying the Pico a doddle.

PicoZ Micro Helicopter

We guarantee you'll be utterly addicted to this titchy triumph of micro technology before you can say 'Jan Michael Vincent' (whippersnappers get Googling), and the whole indoor flight angle adds a thrilling new dimension to proceedings. Open spaces? Who need 'em!

visitor avatar Brilliant little heli, friend has one and I have played with it a few times. Just bought 1 for myself and I can't wait for it :).
James, Scotland - 31st January 2009
visitor avatar I got this toy as a gift for my birthday this year. A lot of fun! My cat is absolutely crazy about it, and so am I. The only drawback is the short life of the in-built heli battery. But it's great, and it recharges quite quickly. So, if you think of buying this for yourself or for somebody that likes giznmos, I say "go ahead". You can't go wrong.
Eugen, Romania - 15th November 2008
visitor avatar I got my helicopter at christmas and my whole family thought that for £20 it was never going to work but when I got it up in the air and steadied it they all said "it actually works!" Its so addictive I ended playing in my bed and round the whole house, possibly the remote toy I ever got. I highly recommend for all age groups as its easy to fly but will entertain you for days.

visitor avatar This little PicoZ helicopter is extremely fun. Got mine today after having to wait 5 hours for it! (had to go to college). Got it charged and fired it up when I got home & it's brilliant fun. I find it best to slightly adjust the trimming as you're flying the helicopter as the battery life does effect it. Also, I recommend some 2500mAh rechargeable batteries (make sure the rechargeables are a high mAh) for the controller as you'll find yourself going through hundreds of normal AAs. I've now stuck a bit of blue tack on the bottom of the nose and it flies a lot better. Very happy. Money well spent. I recommend these batteries: http://www.Mmcrodirect.co.uk / (27589) Energizer-Plug-In-Compact-Charger-With-6. Aspx - 6 2500mah Energizer - they come with a charger as well (although you might want to get yourself another charger as this one can only do 4 at a time). Oh, and thanks for the packet of Fun Gums Firebox!! :D.

visitor avatar Ordered Wednesday, arrived beautifully packed on Friday. Just learning to fly but great fun, a real man's fun gadget, thanks Firebox.
Doug Whitehouse, Anglesey - 8th March 2008
visitor avatar Not much that I can add here about this BRILLIANT WEE MACHINE only to recommend that you buy one now.... Excellent! I've always fancied myself as a pilot.
Gary Copeland, Dumfries And Galloway - 16th January 2008
visitor avatar WARNING !!!! I followed a tip on here about putting a drawing pin in the nose and managed to puncture the battery. I assume that that is the case as the copter doesn't work and there a strange chemical smell came from it. Does anyone know if and where you can buy just a helicopter without the controls as my son (i. E me) is mising the fun?
David Appleyard, Tingley, W Yorkshire - 5th January 2008
Firebox says: Hi David, thanks for the warning. Unfortunately, you cant buy the PicoZ separately from its controller. Sorry about that!
visitor avatar Argos had run out of mini choppers on the Sat before Xmas so a Google search brought up Firebox. Bought a red one on Sunday afternoon and was here at 09:00 Fri - excellent. Crashed many times already, broke the tail fin "post" but spot of superglue put it back in, great entertainment, seems indestructable, easy flying after a while, and I'm over 50, so didn't give it as a present after all!
Steve Tindall, York - 3rd January 2008
visitor avatar Well where do I start.......... First of all the service from firebox was fantastic. I ordered the pico on thursday and received it on the saturday morning. Secondly the pico itself is brilliant. It is well worth every penny, and even though I have crashed it hundreds of times it still works fine. very well done firebox!!
Tom White, Wiltshire - 29th December 2007
visitor avatar I love it had it for a few days now and havent put it down ive had just one problem with mine I cant sort out the trim but who cares.
