Please Note:

The X-Twin is available in two channels (27mhz A and 27mhz B) , so you can fly two at once!

X-Twin Bi-Plane You used to need lessons, licenses, a huge field and a nerdy satin jacket to enjoy flying RC planes. But not anymore, because the brilliant little X-Twin Bi-Plane is so easy to fly even the worst pilots will be able to pull off Immelmann turns, Split-Ss, wingovers, tailslides and barrel rolls – well, not really, but with a little practice you will be executing graceful figures of eight and swooping turns in the comfort of your own living room.

Weighing in at under ¾ an ounce with a wingspan of less than 9", the ultra-light X-Twin is made of tough EPP foam, enabling it to withstand all manner of crashes and collisions, so there's no need to reach for the superglue every time your lack of piloting prowess results in a nasty wipeout.

X-Twin Bi-Plane

Smart aerodynamics and powerful wing-mounted motors make this magnificent rechargeable flying machine incredibly maneuverable. In fact, the X-Twin is so nimble it can even be flown indoors! Yes, indoors! Try doing that with one of your gas-powered behemoths of yesteryear. (Actually, don't...you'll wreck the place).

X-Twin Bi-Plane You control the X-Twin via an intuitive handheld transmitter which also doubles as a charging unit. And you won't spend all day fiddling with your rudder because a 30 minute charge gives flight times of up to 15 minutes - more than enough time to dive-bomb the coffee machine, loop-the-loop above the boss's desk and soar across the IT department (or is it just us that wastes time at work?).

X-Twin Bi-Plane

X-Twin Bi-Plane Best of all, the ready-to-fly, fully adjustable X-Twin is available in two frequencies, so you can take to the skies alongside a fellow flyer and engage in acrobatic dogfights. We guarantee you'll be making stupid plane noises the second your X-Twin starts tailing the enemy. Nee-urrgh...atatatata!

X-Twin Bi-Plane If you've never piloted an RC plane, the take-anywhere X-Twin represents an ideal introduction to model flying. But even if you're a self-appointed expert, this nifty little aircraft is sure to amaze, as it's so darned simple to fly. So what are you hanging around for? Get ordering before the skies become overrun by X-Twins.

visitor avatar This plane is absolutely amazing. Much easier to fly and tune than any other RC plane or copter that I've owned (which makes it great for people like me with no patience and want things flying NOW!!). I've tried it outside and it worked but did have troubles with the wind. It's very light so even the slightest breeze is enough to knock it off course. Luckily we have a sports hall at work which is a little larger than a basketball court and is the perfect environment to fly. Within a couple of minutes, and a couple of thuds, you can have it flying circles around the sky and start aiming at your friends for a few "bombing runs". Next task for me is to start working on the aerobatics. I won't be happy until I can loop-de-loop and barrel roll, and by the looks of the instructions and the ease of flight, it won't be long!

visitor avatar Excellent! Me and my brother took this up to the field near my house and played with it for ages. It's GREAT, even my bro was impressed hehe thanks Firebox!

visitor avatar Got this for my son's Xmas, great fun indoors at his footie training in local school games hall. Unfortunately, I took it flying outside and landed it on top of a 3 storey block of flats (dumbass). Replacement on the way.

visitor avatar I got this for my brithday because the PicoZ heli was out of stock but damn I am glad it was. I have one of those Bladerunner helicopters and it's completely impossible to control, this one, however is addictively easy to fly. You do need quite a large space but this thing is much better at resisting the wind then my Bladerunner ever was!
Alden Laslett, London - Jan '07
visitor avatar Has the plane got a rudder and elevators as people have told me that they can do loop the loops?
James Eden, Flitwick - Jun '07
Firebox says: Hi James, it has a rudder and elevators but they are fixed. I do not believe it would manage a loop the loop, more of a spectacular nose dive!

visitor avatar I'm very interested in buying one of these but I was wondering can there be some wind and they still work or does there just have to be no wind what so ever?
Matthew, Aberdeen - Mar '07
Firebox says: No wind is preferable but it's a sturdy little plane so slight wind shouldn't bother your flying too much!

visitor avatar Straight out of the box it flew. It was a bit jerky at first. I grew in confidence and flew it onto the roof after ten minutes of flying. They were a good ten minutes.

visitor avatar This really is a fantastic little plane, I gave it my nephew (aged 7) on christmas morning & expected problems, I held it in the air he gave it full throttle & then proceded to fly it round the field for the next 5 minutes without crashing & had the biggest smile on his face I have ever seen. Next it was my turn and I flew it straight into a tree! It has since had lots of use and been in trees, hit walls, fences, me on the back of the head and even landed in the pond twice without any damage. You will need quite a lot of room to begin (field, park or beach) with virtually no wind (or a big big building to fly indoors) but it really is great fun.
TED THE BLUE, Shropshire - Dec '06
visitor avatar Quite frankly, this is utterly superb!! Guaranteed fun, very easy to fly, for a very long time! One tip for you, remove the spring from the throttle control and you can set it to a fixed position, meaning you can easily get it to level out and fly it to your hearts content!
Anthony Hakes, East Yorkshire - Dec '06
visitor avatar I have had quite a bit of r/c experience but living in the city it is difficult to get out to the airstrip, I decided to buy one of these for myself and one for my mate for xmas, it has been the perfect 'urban' flyer for me have wasted the whole of the weekend so far trying to find a new 'gate' to fly through. Am now looking forward to giving the other one to my friend so we can get some dogfighting going. Thanks Firebox, Spot On!
