MP3 players are great for enjoying music in the comfort of your own head. But what if you want to fill the entire room with digital ditties? That's right, you plug your player into one of those fancy-pants miniature speaker systems. But which one? Well, tech press experts seem to agree that the chic Aego M System is right up there with the very finest. Indeed, What Hi Fi gave this smart set of speakers a maximum 5 Star rating. And although our ears aren't nearly as refined, we'd have to concur.
So compact it resembles a Lilliputian PA system, this trio of speakers has to be heard to be disbelieved. Comprising two heavy-alloy satellite speakers and a neat subwoofer with built-in amplifiers, the sleekly styled Aego M System delivers a rich audio punch that totally belies its size. Casual listeners will be looking for bass tubes behind the sofa and tweeters under the table when they hear this gorgeously engineered system in action. It really is that good!
If you like your treble smooth and your bass bombastic, the room-filling Aego is just the ticket. Potent amplifiers inside the subwoofer drive all three loudspeakers pumping out crisp sonics at decibel levels that defy belief. Armed with this smart little set up you can transform your MP3 or PC into a high quality music system in an instant. Simply plug the Aego's connecting cable into the headphone socket and hit play.
The Aego M System is ideal for parties and impromptu soirees. Just be sure to switch off the shuffle function before cranking the volume; stumbling across a stray Ricky Martin track can be rather embarrassing when the whole room is listening. So we understand.
We honestly believe the Aego M System is one of the best ways to share your music with the masses. But don't just take our word for it - click Add to Cart and hear this seriously sound investment for yourself. You heard!

"For both value and sound quality the Acoustic Energy Aego M System is almost beyond reproach."What HiFi January 2006 - May '06

WOW! Good delivery service again from Firebox. I bought these as a birthday present for my girlfriend. They just arrived about 1 hour ago and we've hooked them up to the laptop and the PS2. The girlfriend is into horror games on the PS2 and I've just lost her for the rest of the day due to the wall of sound pumping out the these speakers! What struck me the most is the build quality. Very solid, well built and well shielded so you can sit them next to your laptop/tv without interference (the speakers, not the girlfriend). The full set weights 9kgs. The two satellite speakers are tiny but the centre sub-woofer is large. The sound is amazing. We dare not use the highest bass setting for fear of blowing out the windows! All-in-all, very very happy with these speakers and great value for money. Now to try the XBox360!Brian Fisher, London - Jul '06
A self-confessed valve amp and overpriced CD player nut, I was a little sceptical about the Aego M. I was wrong. Very wrong.
The bass is very full and detailed, and doesn't sound overpowering and leaden. That's quite a big deal for a £100 system.
Think of these not as a expensive-ish pair of speakers for your MP3, but a ridiculously cheap hi-fi amp and speakers. Go buy.Alan Black, Glasgow - Jun '06
Unbelievable! The output is immense without distorting as you turn up the volume. My house party soon became a street party. Needless to say we got a stern telling off from the local constabulary. These are great as PC speakers or for connecting to your ipod. Sound quality is fantastic. For that price unbeatable!!Jonny, Leeds - Sep '07
These speakers are superb, the sound quality is superb. Listening to live concerts with them plugged into the tv is a real experience. They are actually made by Acoustic Energy and the speakers themselves are very small, however, be warned the subwoofer/amp is much bigger than it looks and contains the volume control.Dan M, Northampton - Feb '07
Amazing! i've hooked them up to my mac, in my bedroom and the sound quality is way, way better than any of those silly iPod docking speaker thingies everyone seems to have. Oh, and they come with loads of different cables so you can plug just about anything into them.Richard S, N. Wales - Jan '08
Incredible sound quality and build! Very comparible to many higher priced 2. 1 sound systems. Very good value for money. Would recomend these to anyone after a decent set of speakers for their PC, laptop or MP3 players.James, Swansea - Dec '06
Heya. This speaker set is amazing. The wattage this thing pumps out is just shocking. I would recommend it to anyone remotely considering buying a MP3 Player!!!Tony, Cardiff - Jun '06
