Spa Lights

New Colour Changing Spa Lights!

There are countless ways to give your bathroom that sophisticated Asian spa vibe. Sprinkling petals across the surface of the water is one technique, but petrol station carnations hardly compare to exotic orchids, do they? And trying to zone out as a glaring neon bulb roasts your retinas isn't particularly relaxing either. Candles are a good idea in theory but one stray splash spells soggy wicks all round.

Spa Lights That's why you need to get hold of a few Spa Lights. Utterly ingenious, these nifty little battery-operated lights have rubber suckers underneath, enabling you to stick them to any smooth bathroom surface. But here's the good bit - Spa Lights are totally waterproof so you can stick them to the inside of the tub. Buy a few and it's like having your very own underwater lighting system.

Spa Lights

Original Spa Lights come in different colour casings

Spa Lights Best of all, you can remove the rubber suction bit and let your Spa Lights float free on the surface of the water. The mellowy, yellowy glow they give off is truly magical and indescribably romantic. Shove on some of that relaxing plinkity-plink music and you could be in Bali, not Basingstoke!

Amazingly, only 2xAAA batteries are required to power each Spa Light for a whopping 120 hours. That's a lot of bathing and a lot of relaxing. In fact, soaking in the tub whilst surrounded by Spa Lights is almost as soothing as shoving your big toe in the cold tap and humming nursery rhymes with your head underwater. What, haven't you tried it?

Spa Lights Sold in pairs, Spa Lights are guaranteed to add an air of tranquility to baths, showers, shaves or any other bathroom-based shenanigans you'd care to think of. In fact they're so mesmerising you'll probably forget to do anything other than chill out, prune up and relax. So get ordering now - you're 'avin' a baaf, ain't cha!

visitor avatar I bought four of these as stocking fillers at Christmas. I am sorry to say that these are just cheap and nasty and do not live up to Firebox’s usual high standards! Two out of the four I received will not switch off! Click the switch and they just become dimmer, not turning off, but after a few minutes return to full brightness. This means that you have to take the batteries out to turn them off. As well as this all four leak, not just a little but actually fill between ¼ and ½ with water when used. Sadly not a very good item and not deserving of its 4. 5 star rating! I would not buy these again or recommend them to anyone else.
Andrew Holder, Gateshead - 16th January 2012
Firebox says: Hey Andrew, so sorry to hear this. I have emailed you over a few options so we can resolve this for you.
visitor avatar I bought these last year and they weren't very good, they were not waterproof at all! They all rusted very quickly! I would not recommend these. Shame though, they did look nice for a short time.
Claire, Wiltshire - 2nd December 2011
Firebox says: Hi Claire, this doesn't sound right at all! Please drop us an email to info@firebox.com - we'd be happy to help!
visitor avatar Brought the spa lights for a Christmas present, worked fined at first and looked amazing. However only one of the six is still working. Most have leaked and a couple would not switch off. Great idea in principal but very disappointed and would not purchase again.
Lisa, Devon - 24th January 2011
visitor avatar Bought 2 original blue and although I am pleased overall they do not glow blue as stated, actually has an orange glow.
Joyce, Scotland - 23rd January 2011
visitor avatar My husband bought me 4 of these for Christmas. They are a brilliant idea but are a very poor design. After 3 uses only one remains to work. Two have broken switches and the third has rusted after filling with water. I wouldn't recommend these to anyone.
Marie White, Wittering - 15th January 2011
Firebox says: Sorry to hear that Marie, it does sound like you might have received a faulty pack, if you contact us at info@firebox.com we'll see what we can do for you.
visitor avatar These are great and arrived pretty quickly however one of them has broken in the box and I have to solder it back together which is fiddly with all the plastic next to it. But hopefully should be ok. Cool but be warned.
Andy Morris, Guernsey - 8th December 2010
Firebox says: Sorry to hear that Andy, in future feel free to contact us and we can sort it out for you!
visitor avatar I think this would be the perfect present for my mum put if you put them in the bath tub wouldn't you feel them underneath you? Because that would be uncomfortable don't you think?
Mandy, Easingwold - 1st November 2010
Firebox says: They can be suckered to the most convenient places where you don't touch the sides!
visitor avatar Can you use these in outdoor ponds?
Jane, London - 13th June 2009
Firebox says: You could do, but they are not designed for continuous use as the battery will run out after 120 hours, if left on.
visitor avatar I think these are amazing, I brought my mum some for Christmas and she loves them. The only problem is that the suckers tend to randomly fly off underwater some times leaving your lights floating around. Apart from that a top quality product :)
Sean Evans, Stoke On Trent - 5th January 2009
visitor avatar Although these are a lovely idea, I was really disappointed with the end product. Of the 10 that my husband and I bought, 3 never worked (soldering issues?), most have leaked and like another customer has mentioned, the remainder of the lights never completely switch off leading the batteries to run down really quickly. Great idea but needs some work on improving the design.
