When it comes to inter-office warfare, boing-ing rubber bands at your enemies simply won't do in this day and age. The squishy foam dart is now the ammo du jour, and the weapon with which to shoot it is the ingenious Rapid Fire Rifle.

Rapid Fire Rifle This clip-fed fun gun is one of the most entertaining pretend hand cannons ever devised because it features a lever-action cocking mechanism that ejects empty shells - just like those Wild West repeaters popularized by the likes of Lee 'Angel Eyes' Van Cleef and Chuck 'Tin Can Alley' Connors.

Rapid Fire Rifle This allows all you wannabe Wyatt Earps to squeeze off several shots before reloading, so you can make a complete Clint out of yourself cranking the lever in a mucho-macho fashion and leaving a trail of empty shells in your wake as you shoot up the office.

Rapid Fire Rifle Okay, we know the Rapid Fire Rifle doesn't look particularly authentic (unless your name's Yosemite Sam) but who cares when you can fire six foam darts without reloading. Simply crank the sturdy lever and another squishy slug (complete with casing) is loaded and the previous casing is ejected. Realistic? You can almost hear that 'ahee-ahee-aah, wah-wah-wah!' music from The Good, the Bad and the Ugly each time you hit a rival riflemen... sorry, we mean static target.

Rapid Fire Rifle

Rapid Fire Rifle With a range of around 25-30 ft, the Rapid Fire Rifle is ideal for running rustlers outta town and sales reps outta the office. It's also great for shooting tin cans off the hickory stump - well okay, paper cups off the photocopier. Indeed, to paraphrase Clint Eastwood's Man with No Name: 'There are two kinds of people in this world: those with Rapid Fire Rifles and those with foreheads full of suckers.' So hurry up and get ordering before our entire supply skedaddles into the sunset. Ahee-ahee-aah, wah-wah-wah!

visitor avatar I love this sturdy weapon! It's amazing! I was worried that it would be fragile...I had pinned my dad down into my bedroom, there was a mysterious lump in my un-made bed...just to make sure it was not him I gave it a thwack with the butt of gun...he still has the bruise! The sound of the cocking gun is also amazing, it jams occasionally, and is amazingly accurate. I recommend a battle-pack, its so much more fun when someone is shooting back!

visitor avatar Looks awesome, feels awesome, sounds awesome, acts awesome... there is obviously only one word for this fine work of art: "excellent". It's hard to get the clip out, and it DOES jam sometimes, but only if you don't operate the lever right. Cocking the gun really is just as much fun as firing it (very accurate and good range, btw), because you can watch the mechanism spit out the spent shell and load the next one from the clip into the breach as you work the lever, which produces a very satisfying "RRRRKSH-KRSH!"-sound. It's just a pity that refill clips aren't available - reloading would be even more fun, and much more "effective". With just one clip, I'm afraid it won't be of much use to me in the impending zombie apocalypse. I mess around with this toy rifle every 10 minutes; the fingers on my right hand are starting to swell from cocking it so many times today, and I'm going to finish this review now so I can play with it some more. Ah, I wish I had one of these as a kid... but fortunately, I can catch up on that now and remember how it used to be. Thank you for that, Firebox! <=) Now get me some spare clips or the cute kitty gets it.

visitor avatar Absolutely awesome! I had everyone playing with these, I got a twin pack and everyone was having wars through my house. I had the least amount of goes, and they're my presents for Xmas. That shows how cool they are. Definitely get a twin pack because otherwise you cant have battles, we plan to get more to have a real war! Firebox, thank you for these awesome weapons!

visitor avatar I just brought this gun. It is amazing. My bro has the Tommy 20 (which I think is rubbish). I always sneak up on him and shoot him in the head. I've also got the shotgun, they're really good. Well done firebox.

visitor avatar I pre-ordered this in January and with all the reviews mocking me it'll be worth it...BANG!(note, I think a Nerf shotgun would be awesome!, ) KLICK, KLACK!

visitor avatar There is no better weapon for a spot of Sibling Hunting. Crawling through the walkways of the family home, you spot a fine sibling specimen, you cock the rifle, line up your shot. Then wait till the uproar dies down before you try again. Awesome. Do need to get more shells though (the orange bit).

visitor avatar This is a great gun! In indoor wars, I kicked butt with this gun. It is very loud, and keeps heads down!
Jack, West Nyack, New York - Jan '08
visitor avatar This is just amazing, it fires a great distance and also makes an awesome noise then reloading! I have to admit that I was a little worried that I would break it within the first few minutes, but the thing is totally solid...Well Done Firebox!!!
