We've seen plenty of hi-tech hand cannons in our time. In fact here at Firebox we know our sci-fi
weaponry better than the Terminator and Mr Worf combined. Our knowledge may only cover pretend weaponry, but we
recognize an adrenaline-pumping shooting game when we see one. And Shocking Guns is most
definitely that! 
As its name suggests, this thrilling game of laser tag is truly shocking - and we don't mean it
pulls its pants down and hurls abuse the minute you open the box (although that would be quite
funny). You see, unlike standard pansy laser tag sets, this state-of-the-art shoot 'em up
is truly electrifying. That's because a direct hit to your opponent's chest plate delivers a
nasty (but harmless) electric shock via the butt of your opponent's super-futuristic pistol. Forget wimpy flashes and beeps; if you get hit with a blast from a shocking gun you'll definitely know it, and so will your opponent because every time you're hit, one of six LEDs on your chest plate is extinguished. Lose all your lights and it's game over!  Okay, so you'll probably look more like a Power Ranger than a Starship Trooper wearing the LED-laden chest plate, but that's a small price to pay for the sheer pant-wetting excitement you'll experience while battling it out brandishing a potentially shocking, super accurate, long range (16 feet) weapon. Indeed, each gorgeously rugged gun is supplied with a wrist strap to prevent you from dropping it when shocked. And that's extremely likely if you set your guns on the 'I'm hardcore!' maximum shock setting, a mode which extinguishes two LEDs instead of one. You might imagine the key to victory lies in bombarding your opponent with a full-on assault, but Han Solo-style salvos will only end in mizzzzery because you need to 'reload' after every five shots - and that takes a full five seconds. For this reason you'll need loads of cunning and stealth to outbuzz the enemy. In fact, you'll need every shred of nerve available, because Shocking Guns add an electrifying new dimension to laser tag. So go ahead punks, get ordering and make our d-aaarggh!

These are fantastic to play with. They do have one really bad downside to them though.... And that is...once u get good.... NO ONE WANTS TO PLAY ANYMORE......I'm off to find some new unsuspecting vict...er players.... . Keep up the good work firebox.... I'm looking for my next gizmo already. One other complaint.... Brought these online on monday got them tuesday, they are an xmas prezzie for my nephew but had to try them out and they are brilliant if you get them you will have so much fun!!!! the low setting is a tickle but the high setting you really do feel it lol it left my hand tingling for a few minutes, there wrapped now... cant wait for xmas!!!!!! | |||||||||||||

These guns are amazing fun! I played for about an hour with my dad the first day I got them and its a 'shocking' experience!lol. Some sites say their range is 5-10 metres but they actually have an excelent range of up to 50 metres! they are great fun and I cant stop playing with them. I am 12 and it doesn't hurt (too much)...(on the low setting). . Lol. My 11 year old sister is afraid to use them because she thinks she will get hurt! (i dont blame her!) I recomend these guns if you like having fun in a (slightly) painful way! 10 / 10. | |||||||||||||
These are outstanding fun. My house has been overrun by my son's friends wanting a go, even I have had to take turns. No more arguing over taking shots and the little chuckle that follows every anguished cry is very amusing. Buy some now! | |||||||||||||

I bought this product for my brothers 25th birthday, seeing as he acts more like he's approaching his 15th he should love these guns. I've been tempted to try these out before giving them to him but they are so well presented in the box i'm sure he'd know i've been playing with them!! Delivery was outstanding, having ordered them on 21/8, I went off to work my night shift, returning home at 7am the following morning I was astounded to find that my order had been delivered. When I was researching these guns I couldn't find a decent review anywhere. The only reviews I found were a few words long and were all positive. So I decide to write my review telling you the things you want to know.
The range of these guns is actually good - this was my main concern before buying them because no site told me the range exept from a few which said 5 or 10 metres. These ranges are (luckily) wrong, I tested the range of the guns in my garden and I was making my sister scream from around 40-50 metres but this did require a good aim. The guns are also silent apart from when shooting which is a big plus. The sound effects they make are also very good.
I bought 3 pairs of these guns and they all link together creating two teams of three a side. Altogether these guns were an exellent buy and I have been pleased with them and recommend them to anyone who was considering buying. | |||||||||||||
