Marketing Assistant

Looking to take your first steps into online marketing? Want to work for a fast-growing fun company? We're looking for a bright and energetic Marketing Assistant to help our rapidly expanding marketing team in their plans for world domination. You'll need to be a fast learner who is enthusiastic about online marketing, as you'll be given some important responsibilities from the start.

We're looking for someone who:

• Understands the Firebox brand and loves our products
• Is insanely passionate about all things online just like we are
• Is desperate to take on responsibility and show us what they can achieve
• Is capable of juggling lots of stuff at the same time
• Is capable of moving at the pace that we like to travel at. That tends to be pretty quickly (but not so quickly that we all get motion sickness)

You will be responsible for:

• Dealing with enquiries from Firebox.com marketing partners, affiliates and suppliers
• Managing some of our online partnerships
• Helping with both online and offline promotional work
• Supporting the marketing team with general admin tasks
• Sourcing and running online competitions

You will also learn about all aspects of online marketing, with the opportunity to develop your role within the team to suit your interests.

You'll have:

• A University degree or equivalent
• Good organisational skills as the role involves keeping the marketing team running smoothly.
• A passion for online marketing
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment

Previous admin or marketing experience would be an advantage - but enthusiasm, passion and an ability to learn quickly are more important. Salary negotiable for the right person, but around £17-20k depending on previous experience. Accounts Assistant

We're looking for a super-organised person to help us put our office (and some of the people in it!) in order. This person will join our accounts department, but the job also covers reception, office management and PA-type responsibilities.

We will need you to keep our lovely suppliers happy by dealing with their invoices quickly and making sure they are paid on time. On the other hand you'll need to be firm but fair with our trade customers, making sure their payments arrive promptly. You'll also help our Operations Director sort out our warehouse invoices, making sure we pass on relevant costs to 3rd party clients.

You'll make sure we don't run out of paper, pens and of course our main office essential: tea. As the friendly front line face of Firebox you'll be taking reception phone calls and dealing with visitors to the company.

And because this is Firebox we expect you to be a pitch-in kind of person who loves a challenge and is willing to go the extra mile.

So, just to re-cap, we need someone who:

• Has fantastic attention to detail.
• Is comfortable with Microsoft Office and ideally has some experience of Sage.
• Has some understanding of how accounting systems work.
• Communicates brilliantly in person, by email, and over the phone.
• Can organise and prioritise their own work and get on with things.
• Is great with numbers.
• Has a can-do attitude.

You'll be based in our somewhat chaotic Head Office in Streatham Hill, surrounded by lots of toys and gadgets, reporting to the Head of Finance and working in a team of three.

Customer Service Agent

We are a young, vibrant and lively multi-channel retailer selling quirky and unusual gadgets, games and gifts and we are looking for some talented and interesting people to join our award winning customer service team.

If you think you have great interpersonal skills, are patient and unflappable, friendly, well organised and confident then we want to hear from you. Our award winning customer service department is the very centre of our business and as such you must have excellent interpersonal skills with experience of working within online retail or in a call centre environment.

About the job:

You will be responsible for:

• Dealing with customer queries via our customer service order line and email service
• Processing orders
• Liaising with dispatch couriers
• Working alongside our warehouse regarding orders and returns
