BabyPlane Spoon

Amusing for everyone involved!

Parents go to great lengths to get just one spoonful of nosh into baby's mouth. From the time-honoured 'choo-choo, here comes the train' technique to the lesser-known 'Aargh, please eat just one ikkle spoonful before I have a nervous breakdown' method.

For this reason we've been looking for a utensil that makes feeding time fun, not to mention a little more palatable. And we were on the verge of surrender when the whimsical BabyPlane Spoon zoomed into the Firebox creche.

BabyPlane Spoon

Fashioned to resemble a comedy aeroplane, this stainless steel spoon is all set to become baby's best friend at mealtimes, Frustrated parents will love it too, because its colourful plastic wings and tailfin are designed to distract baby, thus allowing you to spoon some much needed sustenance into your obstinate little angel's cakehole.

Unhappy babies are a thing
of the past

It goes without saying that a few suitably idiotic songs/sound effects will only enhance proceedings. A quick survey amongst parents here at Firebox (waddya mean, you thought we were a bunch of kids?) puts humming the Dam Busters March at number one, whilst singing Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines is up-diddly-up-up at number two. We're not sure where saying 'wheeee, here comes the ikkle-wikkle aewoplane' in a really stupid voice came but rest assured it's highly effective. So we hear.

BabyPlane Spoon

David is wondering why daddy is using a pink BabyPlane spoon

Available in pink or blue, the BabyPlane Spoon is a great gift for parents-to-be because as well as being practical it takes the tedium out of feeding time. And it doesn't matter if it's incoming crushed carrots, pea puree at 12 o'clock or a loop-de-swoop of squiggly spaghetti, this charming utensil makes feeding baby even more, erm, entertaining than it already is. Look out, mashed turnip on collision course with little one's open mouth! Help, it's going in -Hooray!
